Still

I noticed this a few months ago, even two years later I still miss "Shadow" I found that odd. How can I still miss a dog. She was only 6 1/2, taken way before she should have been, but still..why is it so hard to put behind me?!?!? It seems like I just started dealing with her being gone this year, that in it's self is odd/sad. I have come to see that Shadow wasnt only a great dog, but was my friend, who taught me how to love. Life is so complicated sometimes.
